Banana Mulu Bebe

Banana " Mulu Bebe " , the flagship of the Banana northern Maluku


           Banana is one of the fruits that have significant economic value and are a favorite food for someone . It tastes delicious and unique shape make this fruit to be excellent , in addition, the banana is easily found around our neighborhood , with the exception of bananas "Mulu Bebe" type which is typical of North Maluku bananas . Bananas contain vitamin C , B complex , B 6 , serotonin , carbohydrate , potassium , and also as a complement to a healthy diet , and can be made a variety of foods , from bread to ice all kinds of fruit .

           Energy value of bananas around 136 calories for every 100 grams , which as a whole comes from carbohydrates . Energy value of banana twice higher than apples . Apples with the same weight ( 100 grams ) contains only 54 calories .

              
          "Mulu Bebe" is a typical banana coming from the north Maluku . Type of banana is still rarely found in other areas . Bananas  "Mulu Bebe" is that many horticultural commodities developed in North Maluku .

                          
                 Physically, bananas "Mulu Bebe" has a hallmark that differentiates it from other bananas , among others : typical form of fruit , big fruit section at the base , and getting to the end has narrowed . Flesh when ripe fruits reddish yellow ( orange ) . This indicate a that the vitamin C content was higher in comparison with the other bananas . It was confirmed from the fruit taste a little sour when ripe .
            

          In general , the physical size of the banana "Mulu Bebe" is : average plant height 160 cm with a diameter of 10 cm . Long leaves an average of 125 cm with a width of 46 cm . "Muliu Bebe banana leaves light green , the leaf is not too wide with the main leaf veins stand out as a bear -sized development of morphological layer pseudo stem . While the fruit reaches 13 cm in length , with a diameter of 3.4 cm . Potential yield of 4.35 tons per hectare at a spacing of 3x3 m .
